To efficiently and effectively plan, manage, and implement capital improvements for the State of Nevada;  As the state's building official, to regulate all construction on state lands to safeguard public health, safety and welfare.

Philosophy:

We are committed to ensuring successful projects by conducting ourselves professionally, ethically, courteously, and in a businesslike manner and use the taxpayer's money wisely.  We will work as a team to build consensus, take pride in our work and serve with humility.
